The BIG baby

I am feeling better now. (*cheer*) It took a little Vick's vapo inhaler, some vitamin C, lots of water & the purchase of a cool mist humidifier.

Picture 1: describes how I felt.
Now tell me why they must make a inhaler look like a tampon?? I would really like to know.
In the minutes after I purchased this I wanted to use it. (BUT I waited... because I was parked in front of a sand which shop which had people eating inside looking out of the windows.) I thought ... if I put this up to my nose I may scare them. Or Worse they may think I am inserting a tampon in my nostril.
I also realized there isn't and never will be a sexy way to use one of these.
If you REALLY need to use it.. pretend you are looking in the glove box and *sniff sniff* quickly.

Thrift Shop Buys
Baby Kewpie figurine $1

I woun't be afraid to admit I had fun making the top silly pic out of this photo.

Still in plastic vintage doll $1

Mug I purchased for myself $0.30 cents

Pink powder jar $4.50

This will be my third jewelry box like this.

I store them all in Hazel my vanity table. They are perfect for organization.

$3.50

I was thrilled to find this lamp at Salvation army for $2.00

Sure beats the look-alikes they are making nowadays in vintage style that sell for over $100

Confetti earrings $0.50 cents

*AAAAAHHHHH* Metal recipe box complete with a SEXY Lobster *pinch*

These bottom two items I purchased a few weeks or more back and I am pretty sure I forgot to show them in the blog.

Never been used Simpsons Sears curtains.

$4.00 (I think)

I love the instructions and photo.

Blue dish $5.00

(I have a thing for the pokey stuff!)

So there you have it!

This year I have plans to have a table at the flea market every couple of weeks or so. I buy stuff for myself... but alot of other times I find vintage items that are priced so low it would be a sin not to buy them and re-sell them for some spare cash. I have done a bit of re-selling on classified sites. But I hate having strange people come to my house to purchase things. So obviously a flea market setting would be a little more ideal.

~So that is one of my plans for Spring~

I also plan on loading up my Etsy shop (Which has been dormant and empty for months now *lol*) In the near future.

I am ordering Galaxie my mannequin a new wig. Because I dislike the one she came with. (Yes I know that sounds very weird.. but once I get something in my head... there is no going back.)

I really need to start selling stuff... WHY? YOU ASK?

Because GARAGE SALE SEASON is right around the corner.

p.s. The reply button has not been working for me. But I see it's working for others... SO HOPEFULLY it is fixed now.

    1. I think I will keep buying the scented tampons!
*lol* They say they last for 3 months. I paid $4.50 I suppose that is a pretty darn good deal.
The lamp is quite lovely I like the tall shade. I was walking down the stairs to the lower part of the store when I spotted it. I actually RAN and grabbed it. Like it was some sort of award!!! *Bwhahaha*
You will have to let me know how a facebook store works out for you.
I think you would do GREAT on Etsy. The fees are alot cheaper than DAMNED E-bay and your listing stays for months. Just like my inhaler.

    1. *LMAO* Now do you really think I would shove a tampon in my nostril for a blog post??? HAHAHAHA
Thats a good way to get un-followed.. I would scare off the normal people and would only be left with crazies like myself. ;)
Glass stuff always reminds me of old grannies and I JUST LOVE IT ALL. (Old Grannies included)

  11. We not only buy faux furs in sync, now we have congestion/colds/dreaded poorliness at the same time too! This is too weird... I am about to go and steam my head so I don't have to pull a face like that first one - tho that is exactly how I feel!
Lovely buys, Miss Coco - my faves are the pink and blue glass jars, I think, but loving the curtains and the Kewpie figure too. Hope the real Kewpies are being kind to the newbie!
PS. Parcel on its way, love! xxxxx

If you have a humidifier or vaporiser *seriously use it*
I was so suprised after only day one of having one on how much better I felt. (That sounded like an infomercial didn't it?) *lol*
I want to make a little place for my kewpies to live now. (I am such a child)
I will keep my eye out for my mailman. He just better hope I don't jump on his back when I see him. (The last thing I need is a sexual harassment suit with a mail carrier)

  14. Oh my it's so true about those yucky inhalers!!! True story: when I was 9 my big sisters told me that tampons were nose plugs. TMI? I love it when you go garage saleing and I can't wait to visit your Etsy shop once it's up and running again:)) Hope you're feeling better now xoxoxo

  15. I didn't even know that they still made those inhalers! When I was in high school, my best friend got addicted to using one of those. Actually addicted and her doctor verified that yes, people can get addicted to them. Her parents would actually search her room to make sure she didn't have one anymore and she'd sneak and use one in her car when she wasn't at home! I think that they should have just been proud that an inhaler was her strongest drug. Maybe she just liked open nasal passages. Is that so wrong? I ramble.
