I create OBJECT families!

Nothing better than a bike ride at sunset and a buddy to keep you company. *Haha*
See in my basket? That is a 1960's pooh bear. I took him for a ride on my bike the day I found him at a thrift store for 50 cents. He has a wind up on his back and when wound plays music. What does he play?? Why the Winnie the Pooh theme song of course!!
I did have a couple of weird looks riding with this bear. But I bet it's the best time he's had in about 40 or so years!
Found this jug in a box of VERY dirty dingy grimy things. But I knew it was old... I was almost scared to touch it! *lol* But I grabbed the handle and when I did the seller said "I am sorry those are a bit dirty, you can have the jug for 50 cents" A big SOLD sign went off in my head. Some soap and hot water later the jug is next to new!
Bunt cake pan. I really needed a new one my current is on it's last legs.
$1.50
 Aeropostale perfume $1
*Haha* Here's cute little pooh saying Hello to Vintage Vixen!!
She's scared of sweet little softies. *hehe*
Post it note purse 50 cents

MOD purse $2.00 from the Salvation Army

Okay so what's with my blog title??? Well I seem to like creating families of things. If I have one at home and see another similar... I think I will purchase the one I found because the one at home needs a friend.  "IT'S VERY SILLY"
I suppose it's collections... but how many collections does one human need?
I can't pass these up, I am intrigued by them.
$0.75
 My Lucky Cat family
These two were found on a garage sale table, I knew instantly they needed to come home with me... as I had a lonely owl sitting on the back of my toilet. He needed friends....
*Ahhhh Happiness* They were 25 cents each. There's the turtle I told you about in last post.
And now you know what the back of my Loo looks like!
Instant family (All purchased from the same garage sale) These guys are destined for Etsy.
I just cannot have a family of salt and peppy's in my home. That would be going to far!!!

Portable blue Brother Deluxe Typewriter $3
"I lucked out on this one." I was going to a Church thrift store after I had finished my garage sales. Outside of the church was a pile of donations that had just been dropped off. I noticed the little blue case and un-zipped it to see what was inside. Once I seen the typewriter I carried it into the church to ask one of the ladies in charge how much they wanted for it. I also told her there was boxes of donations sitting outside. (The 3 woman working there are elderly and are all very sweet.) The thrift store in the building is up a few flights of stairs. The woman told me they would like $5 for the typewriter. I told her I would think about it and continued to look around. When one of the ladies saw all the donations she asked Mr. Coco if he could help bring them up. He did and when I went to pay for the stuff I had found they told me they would only charge me $3 for the Brother Deluxe because of Mr. Coco's help.

~Best find of the weekend~
Light up magnification makeup mirror!
I have wanted one of these for close to a year. But they are pricey and I didn't want to splurge on a round piece of glass that lights up and enlarges my pores. I had it on my Christmas list but then Cancelled it out because I wanted Dior Cherie perfume more.
Sometimes it pays to wait..... I paid $2 for this mirror at a Seniors home sale and now it will sit on my vanity table Hazel and help me with my makeup and my eyebrow plucking.

I found these brand new ruffled bottoms at Salvation army for $2 a pair.
(Original price of $6.50 each)

Linking up with Lakota's ta-dah! tuesday

I had such a fun weekend. My saturday was full of garage sales and Sunday there was a community garage sale listed for a little country town about a 30 minute drive away.
Mr. and I went saling and found a few things and then went to a lake side park.
The water is high here because of spring run-off and we just ended a flood watch.

I wanted to ride the frog... but I could not get to him safely.

Mr. & I
*Weeee*
I rode this exact duck when I was about 9 or 10
I am glad they still have the old playground equipment and have not replaced it with the plastic junk.

Cute or Demented??? TELL ME!

Hope everyone is having a good week so far!

Things on my cluttered dresser

Well are you anything like me and just have too much stuff you like to look at?

I recently brought this dresser in my bedroom so I would have more room for clothes. "OH YAY" my little head said.. MORE room to display fun stuff.

I am still organizing this area.. I have a mirror that is to be hung behind the dresser. Hopefully I will get that done soon. In the meantime random vintage thing's keep making it their home. Please tell me I am not the only one?!

I found that nifty yellow circle tray that everything is on at a garage sale a few weeks ago for a 1.50 it's hand painted and I adore it.

The fake flowers in the vase were purchased to make flower hair clips.. still have not got around to that. *Sideways glance* I will though sooner or later. I keep my bobby pins in the Murano glass bamboo vase & my hair elastics in the green ceramic reed weave looking container.
I have a love for shamrocks and that would be why I have a shamrock plant thrown in the mix. It seems as though the deer like to graze there on summer nights & listen to the owls hoot and cats meow.

I just picked up that cute little fabric pear this weekend for .25 cents I surely could not leave it at the store to catch dust fall on the floor and get kicked all over. I fear for my little brass mice because you never know when that Siamese cat is gonna get hunger pangs.

And that black bead necklace on the lover part of the tray.. yes I know there is two, well the top one. That one reminds me of olives and whenever I think about wearing it I get a urge to go to the supermarket and pick up a can. I swear I have a pickle olive addiction and I don't think it's getting any better.
