Fastest post I ever made

I am standing outside of the Salvation Army. There is 15 min before they open. They have this display area that they put the "good stuff" in and hold it for a whole month for people to stare at and decide they want. I have had my eye on a purse and hat. So here I stand..... Me in the front of the line Mr. Coco and 3 other ladies. *eaaaak* my heart is racing. Please vintage Gods let me have that purse.

    When I was in junior high my mom volunteered at the Salvation Army thrift store. I used to BEG her to put things aside for me but she wouldn't do it! I KNOW how you feel. So frustrating.

    I'm hoping! Do they make that stuff way more expensive too?
    They do that at the sallies here too - only they number the items and you have to put bids in at the counter, in a silent auction. you get a call if your bid was highest!

    Omg the purse rocks - did you get it? I've done that at thrift shops too, once with a gorg Persian rug that was peeping out of the back room at the Sally Ann. Alas, another woman had staked her claim and somehow she got it first the next day, even though I was first in the store, wah. :)

    That's some cool stuff in there! SA have nothing here in the UK, OK snagged a wide dark green marbled Bakelite bangle for 50 pence but that's the only good thing I snagged from SA ever.
