It's 10:05 p.m. here Thurday night

It's 10:05 p.m. here Thurday night I am in my curlers.. What are you doing?? LOL (Kidden kidden) But you can tell me if your like. Fact is.. I am 2 hours away from Friday.. So I am in preparation for Frock on Friday!! *woo* I have picked out what I will wear. See that bottle of nail polish above?? Well I am gonna remove the current orange shade and re-do it with the mystery color. I hope my curlers do not give me too much trouble. Once I press publish on this post, I will do my nails to a randomly chosen movie off netflix. Last night I watched (Million Dollar Babies) the story of the Dionne quintuplets that were born in the 30's. I had only seen bits and pieces before so watching it together everything finally made sense. Its is quite a sad story though. Funny thing is I found a old book about it in a thrift store last week, so I will finish that too.
Also I am super EXCITED because I was supposed to be having a garage sale this weekend which meant I can't go to the sales myself. Well it has been postponed to next weekend because my Brother who was the main one wanting to have a sale is not quite ready. So I said we could move it a week later... little did he know my pure joy inside bubbling over!! *hahaha* Alright see you tomorrow
I am excited!!!! Is anyone ELSE excited or am I just weird?? *SCREAM*

I can't wait to do my makeup.. but I have to sleep first. *lol* WAIT maybe I am over tired...

The little kid side of me was OVERJOYED today!

My 1985 Grimace toy and I

Today had been a very lazy un-exciting day... I woke up early to tutor my Grandmother on using the Internet. After that was done I came home had lunch and looked over the new garage sale advertisements for this weekend.

Then I decided I would like to go and check out what our local liquidation store had got in and pick up another jar of barrel cured pickles *mMmmm*

Figuring nothing fantastic would happen I left the house in giant sweatpants! *lol* So we head to the store only to get there 2 minutes before closing *BOOH*

So I ask my guy if he would like to go get a ice cream cone at McDonalds.

Well THANK GOODNESS the liquidation store was closed or what happened next would have never happened. We were sitting in the drive thru lineup when out walks through the door Birdie!! I seriously *GASPED* rather loud. My guy said "What?" I pointed to Birdie outside the front of McDonalds.

Seconds later... I see a big furry purple thing coming out the door! IT MUST BE MY FAVORITE McDonald's character... IT WAS! It was Grimace!!

This time I seriously *Squealed* "Thank God my man knows I am weird.." Cause had I been on a first date or something I am sure that would have been the end of it! *hahah* After Grimace Hamburglar walked out!!!

*OH MYYYY* How exciting. The line was sort of long but I didn't care!! I was watching Birdie, Grimace & Hamburglar. We got up to the speaker ordered our ice creams and I told my guy... "We have to turn around!!! We need to go back to the parking lot!! I WANT A PICTURE with Grimace! So he pulls the vehicle around we get back in front of the building to which he says: "You know it's just kids getting their pictures taken right??" I replied: "I don't care!!!!" I LOVE THEM!! *bwhahahah*

So as we are walking towards them I said "I know I am not a little kid but can I please get my picture taken with you?" The workers helping the characters said "Yes of course!" So I was happier than a kid in a candy shop! I skipped up and PROUDLY got my picture taken with them! Grimace is what really mattered but the fact I got all 3 was even better!
Just the fact that I blogged about this within hours of it happening just goes to show how truly excited I really was... and am. I hope my future kids don't mind when I rent a bouncy castle for their Birthdays and I AM the one jumping around inside screaming and yelling and having a blast. I hope they realize I might just get more use out of their toys then they do. Heck probably half of the time I will secretly purchase it for myself and just let them play with it. *Shhh don't tell!*

I don't like alot of seriousness... I like FUN! How often do you let your inner child out?? I know some of you do more than others *lol*

Easter weekend out of town day trip!

Happy Easter everyone!!! My Easter weekend has been quite lovely.
We had our turkey dinner quite early (Thursday to be exact) It was the best time for every member in our family so it was over and done even before the weekend started.

For the past month or so I had been searching here and there for a beach cruiser. I have wanted one for quite some time and just couldn't forget about it. The prices on these bikes can go quite high!!! And oddly enough in the United States you can get them for some very good prices at Walmart or Target. You even get selection with over 10 styles and brands to choose from.. but NOT HERE IN CANADA!! To this date the Canadian Walmarts still do not have even one beach cruiser in their stores yet?!?!
Whats up with that?? I am sure Canadian people are just the same as American people I mean we all ride bikes RIGHT?? *haha* "Just last week I saw my neighbor with a cruiser parked next to his igloo" *wink*
So after getting a tad impatient and not wanting to pay the big bucks the bike shops wanted.. I decided to turn to the classifieds.

So a week and a couple days ago I had come across a ad for a gorgeous lilac colored cruiser. I sent a message to the seller saying I was interested in the bike and wanted to buy it. After 2 days or so with no reply I thought "Hmm someone might have beat me to it, and the owner forgot to take down the add." I still had a glimpse of hope (CHECKING DAILY) and still seeing the ad still up. But after about the 5th day with no contact I just sort of gave up.. Well exactly one week later we got a reply. The owner apologized and had been away on a vacation!! Guess who was first in-line for the cruiser?? "ME me ME!" So we established plans to meet on Saturday. (The bike was not even in my town) I got so crazy with my search I sort of widened my areas to scour for a cruiser. We made a day trip out of it. Did a little shopping and grabbed a quick burger. Then it was time to go see the bike. I knew I was going to get it as long as it didn't have some huge dents in it or big scrapes from a crash or something. When we met with the owner and she wheeled the bike outside I INSTANTLY loved it!
It reminds me of Cotton Candy, Unicorns, Bubblegum, Flowers & Happiness.

Once a test ride was taken and the money was paid we put my newest edition in the back of the pick-up and set off for our trip back home after a quick visit with the In-laws who reside in the same town as CottoncandyUnicornsBubblegumFlowersHappiness cruiser came from.
I have yet to name this bike *Rolls eyes* "I know I was in the same predicament in my blog post last week with the blue vintage cruiser I purchased for $8.00 but a name has since been decided upon and the blue bicycle is called ~*Hyacinth Orchid*~

The drive home was lovely because the highway goes through mostly farmland, and I saw SO MANY cute baby cows on the trip. (I love cows!!)

I rode the cruiser for the first time today to a coffee shop. I got a large coffee made my way over to a bench and had a few moments of relaxation before the ride home.

I hope you all had a great weekend
